Join the Chippewa County Historical Society for a guided tour on the St. Mary's River. Learn about the history of Sault Ste. Marie with History Fest organizers and area history buffs. You will enjoy a delicious buffet dinner and dessert on this special History Fest Cruise. Departure is 6:00 pm

Experience the start of the Trans Superior Yacht Race at the east end of Whitefish Bay at the Gros Cap Light, near Sault Ste. Marie, MI as well as enjoying the Lighthouse Cruise before the race start at 1:00PM.
The Trans Superior Yacht Race is a biennial event! The challenging course is a 338 nautical mile race from Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to Duluth, MN. It is held every odd year and is sponsored by the Lake Superior Yachting Association in conjunction with the Duluth Yacht Club and the Algoma Sailing Club in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. The cruise will be approximately 5 hours in length.

If you live in the tri-county area of Chippewa, Mackinac, and Luce counties, you can take a tour through the Soo Locks simply by making a food pantry donation at our Soo Locks Boat Tours Dock 2 ticket office. Help build up the inventory at the Area Food Pantry and enjoy the scenic beauty of the St. Mary’s River and wonder of the Soo Locks.
